When praying about this blog, “Big God, Big Things,” I couldn’t forget the wonderful friends God has placed in my path on this journey. I have been blessed with close, dear friends who have done some Big Things and clearly KNOW their big thing is the result of a big God. Together we have witnessed God do something far bigger than maybe we had ever imagined. They probably did because they have a Big God who does Big Things.

Steve, I read your latest post and when I stopped weeping, I thanked God for you! You have clearly articulated what Paul was saying when he talked of Christ in us being the hope of glory. You were never abandoned. WE are never abandoned as God’s creatures with His Holy Spirit living in us. Even though this journey is difficult and at times impossible to go one step further, we know God is with us. You embody that great truth to us…to me. Thank you.
I pray every day for you, TRUSTING YOU TO GOD”S CARE. My mother, just before she died of liver cancer prayed,”Dear God, thank you for the young people (I think she meant me). Thank you for the pain, I’ve learned so much through it. And most of all thank you for Jesus.” Those words are carved into my heart, and I shared them with you because I know you understand them. I, also, know that you hear me when I say, I LOVE YOU.
Steve is a walking miracle. It’s absolutely true – God is big and does BIG things. He’s in the process of healing my brother Steve.
To God be the glory, great things He has done, is doing and will continue to do. As Steve knows, in His will the best is yet to be!
