Do you have a habit that you would like to discard, shake off, and/or throw away? Does that habit stick closer than a brother? Is it getting in the way of letting you become the person God has planned for your life?
Let’s start there. Little things become big things before you realize what is happening. Once we are snagged by bad habits, strong unhealthy desires, and have stepped over that firmly drawn line it is sometimes difficult to reverse. That is where prayer is so important.
This little girl in this video has taught us some simple facts about our prayer life:
- She knows about prayer. It is part of her life;
- She is very aware of what she needs to pray about;
- She knows to Whom she is talking;
- She knows, without a doubt, He can and will answer her request; and …
- She knows nothing is too big or too small for HIM to handle.
So, take your hand (with all the “thumb” habits and sin we have covering our lives), raise it high to the Holy Father who can heal the one who is broken hearted, crippled, and directionless. HE does hear our prayers when we come to the throne of His mercy and grace!
The Message says …
Hebrews 4:14-16: Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.
GOD IS BIG … AND HE IS INTERESTED IN OUR BIG AND LITTLE THINGS!
