Sitting on the porch in Buena Vista, Colorado, I looked out at the sites that God has created.
Bonita and I were recently getting ready for a teaching lesson for our class at SBC (Second Baptist Church); we concentrated on Revelation, Chapter 5. The verse reads:
And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” (Revelation 5:13 NASB)
This is the worship of heaven. Not only will all creatures of the universe praise God and join in worship before Him for His redemptive love, but creation itself — the rocks, the trees, the mountains, the hills, the rivers — everything on earth, will praise Him.
This is what I am seeing right now. How can anyone not believe that He is the true Creator of all things, and not worship Him? Even the mountains, the trees, the flowers speak of His mighty plan. Evening raindrops, lightening, thunder express His majesty and offer a symphony of praise.
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free….
Surely, God has His hand on me.
Please pray for our lesson preparations for our class. Bo and I teach the THIRST class on the 1463 Campus.
