Though we cannot use terms like total healing, remission, etc., I do know that God is at work doing a holy Miracle in my body EACH AND EVERY DAY. Plus, we know the cancer is still alive in my brain, but it is not (Praise God!) active or growing at all. Wow! Isn’t that great news?
Pray with me that the cancer will continue to lay dormant. Hopefully it will get bored like I do so often in this state of waiting and watching.
Plus, I miss people so much. I feed on people contact every day. I could also use some projects that would satisfy my need to be creative and productive. I’ve always said it might be good to be a Walmart greeter, hand out samples at Chik-fil-A, or run the merry-go-round at the mall.
Most importantly, I am compelled to praise God every moment. I don’t deserve this. I know I am the answer to hundreds and hundreds of prayers for healing from people all over the world. Thank you to each of you who had offered prayers of intercession on my account. I am so blessed by your sacrifice and heartfelt prayers of faith. You are so loved!!
So much of this blessing is because of the songs. Yes, the songs we all have sung together so long as Facebook Family Worshippers. The theme of those songs reflected dependence on God, belief in God’s provision, recognition of God’s power and provision, thankfulness toward a generous God, and focus on the wonder-working power of our Creator. It has been such a blessed time with our Lord. He is so good! Plus, our songs have centered on how big God is and how big the things He does are.
Watch in the coming days for more song postings that I hope you will join me in singing. These songs will be about celebrating His goodness. We will, together, sing out to Him with songs of gratefulness.
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
The Blood that Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The Blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It shall never lose its power.
I’m glad that it reaches to the highest mountain
And that it flows to the lowest valley
The Blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It shall never lose its power.
