So NOW I am in a long waiting game. We are forced to put things on hold right now because of the mix-up with the critical MRI last night. Therefore, our next scheduled MRI will not be until November 27th and interpretation from the brain oncologist on November 29 … that’s a long, long wait. But the Bible is full of people of faith willing to wait on God’s perfect timing and direction … so I will wait.
Cliff Young and my friends in Caedmon’s Call used to sing a great song called, “I WAITED.” I loved it. Therefore, waiting is a good thing.
Here are the lyrics of the song, and if you remember the tune then join in with me today:
I WAITED
I waited
For the Lord on High
I waited
And He heard my cry
He took me out, out of despair
And showed me where to walk
From fear into security
From quicksand into the light
I sing to let the people know
That I have been restored
So they will kneel and understand
To return and trust in the Lord
I waited
For the Lord on High
I waited
And He heard my cry
Thank you, Cliff. You are a great friend!!
