There are times that I ask myself, “Does the world really get it?” The news is troubling. Our world is out of control, and it seems like everyone is out for themselves. Except for tonight. Tonight I went to watch a rehearsal of over 200 young people (high school students) dancing for the Lord. They are called the JUMP team and will be performing for over 2000 of their peers for worship at the Second Baptist Beach Retreat this next week in Pensacola, Florida.
You see, they serve every week for the children’s worship called JUMP. By serving, I mean they are role models for young children; they realize that they are considered super stars in their eyes. These kids take this job very seriously, plus they teach from their lives the truths written in the gospels. My heart was deeply touched to see what God has done with this group of teenagers. Beach Retreat 2014 … here they come!
