THIS IS THE DAY the Lord has made. Speaking in my heart: “Good Morning, Lord! Are you there?” | |

Stand and walk? | THANK YOU, JESUS! |
Each and every day this is the process that runs through my mind as I open my eyes and start the day. The day the Lord has given me. I cannot take one day for granted. It is a gift, one that I don’t deserve, but accept with such gratitude.
Our verse from the beginning of this journey has been “To live is Christ; to die is gain.” I keep going back to the first part of this verse … To Live Is Christ because I am still here. God has me here for a reason. Each and every day I know that Christ is here, too. He is giving me the strength to take that first step in the morning, as He has done every day of my life. I have kept the verse John 10:10 in front of my path all these years: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” I love that word abundantly. To me it means live BIG. There are no boundaries with that word. God’s power is undefined … anything is possible!
There is something in me that wants to see what plan God has for me each and every day. I could stay in bed, but TO LIVE IS CHRIST. Why would I want to miss what HE has for me for that day?
If you are finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning, or just out of bed, you are missing the wonderful things GOD has planned for your life. A friend asked my wife, after knowing all the pain and surgeries I have gone through, “What makes him get up in the morning?” She answered, “He just loves living. He loves life.” Christ is definitely here. To live is Christ, and I want to see him every day!
I will bless The Lord at all times; His praise shall be continually in my mouth …. I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears …. oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” Psalm 34:1,4,8
