Fatigue, weariness, nausea, disorientation, and general bad reactions to chemo and radiation have been the standard feelings I have endured the past days. Bottom Line: I have lost a lot of my strength. I am happy to report to you that the words of this song are so true for me. God has provided every ounce of strength I could have ever hoped for, so this song we are singing today echoes exactly what I believe. I do hope you share my belief that He is the source of all our strength in every situation … especially this one.
GOD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY HEART
Whom have I in heaven but You?
There is nothing on earth I desire beside You
My heart and my strength many times they fail
But there is one truth that always will prevail
Chorus
God is the strength of my heart
God is the strength of my heart
God is the strength of my heart
And my portion forever, forever
(Repeat Verse)
Whom have I in heaven but You?
There is nothing on earth I desire beside You
My heart and my strength many times they fail
But there is one truth that always will prevail
(Repeat Chorus twice)
God is the strength of my heart
God is the strength of my heart
God is the strength of my heart
And my portion forever, forever
Forever, forever, forever …
Forever!
