An old one and a new one, but the message is the same for me today. I can depend on God to carry me, and let me lean on Him today. Why don’t you sing with me and be assured that God wants us to lean on him in EVERY situation? I am trusting Him for my pain, my cancer, my future!
LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS
What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Then check out this transition … camp song anyone? This one brings back lots of memories in lots of fun venues in my life … too fun … motions anyone?
LEAN ON ME
Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there’s always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you won’t let show
You just call on me brother,
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you’d understand
We all need somebody to lean on
If there is a load you have to bear
That you can’t carry
I’m right up the road
I’ll share your load
If you just call me
You just call on me brother,
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you’d understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Call me (if you need a friend)
Call me (call me)
Call me (if you need a friend)
Call me (if you ever need a friend)
Call me (call me)
Call me
Call me (if you need A friend)
